Terms & Conditions – Contract Buyout Eligibility

To qualify for the Contract Buyout program:

You must purchase and activate a minimum of three mobile lines, with at least one number ported in from another provider (“Qualifying Lines”).

All lines must be activated within 30 days of order.

Each ported line may be eligible for up to $500 reimbursement, with a maximum of five ported lines or $2,500 per account.

You must submit:

A completed Contract Buyout application

A final bill from your previous provider that clearly shows the ETF amount

Proof of payment for the last 3 months

All documentation must be submitted within 30 days of activation.

The ported line must have been active with your previous provider for at least 90 days prior to switching.

Reimbursement is issued via prepaid card (no cash access, expires in 12 months).

Reimbursement excludes interest, taxes, and fees.

Service must be maintained for 12 consecutive months; otherwise, full reimbursement amount may be forfeited or recovered.

Offer is not available in all areas and may not be combined with other promotions.

Internet and Auto Pay enrollment are required.

Frequently Asked Questions – Contract Buyout (Residential)

What do I need to submit?

  • A completed Contract Buyout form
  • Your final bill from the previous provider with the ETF clearly listed
  • Your name and address must match the new account
  • You must have active qualifying services (e.g., Internet + Video or Voice). If all three are not available, subscribe to all available eligible services in your area.

What services are excluded?

  • Mobile hotspots, tablets, wearables
  • Subscription TV or streaming services (e.g., Hulu, Netflix)
  • Wireless-only services
  • Taxes, equipment return fees, and non-ETF charges

What if there’s no ETF on my final bill?

Some providers issue ETF charges on a separate billing cycle. Contact your previous provider and request a bill that clearly shows the applicable ETF.

When will I receive my reimbursement?

Once your documentation is received, allow up to 5–7 business days for review. Approved payouts will be issued within 10 business days after verification.

Can the payment be sent to my previous provider?

No. All buyout reimbursements are issued directly to the new account holder.

Can funds be directly deposited into my bank account?

No. Payments are issued via prepaid card only.

What if my ETF exceeds $500?

The program will cover up to $500. If the total ETF exceeds this, you will be responsible for the difference.

What if I had more than one provider?

You may submit bills from multiple providers (e.g., TV from one, Internet from another), but the total reimbursement is capped at $500. Each bill must clearly show ETF amounts.

Can I use the Contract Buyout more than once?

No. Each household/account is only eligible once for the Contract Buyout program.

What if I don’t have an ETF?

If you’ve completed your contract and are not charged an early termination fee, you will not qualify for reimbursement. Final billing charges without ETFs are not eligible.
